well, spent a few hours with it but still cannot install linux on my laptop :-) not after bios update, not after tried all the voodoo things to get it work :-)

driver update for windows

In case you using windows 7 too i found a pretty decent tool for keep your drivers up-to-date.

I checked a few softwares like this and I have to say most of them are useless or contains malware / spyware.

Two of them I found good, one is drivermax which is in the race since a while and maybe (correct me if I'm wrong) the oldest from all and the other is slimdrivers.

Drivermax has a limit for free users (limited the amount of number of updates/day) but the other is totally free to use or you can by pro which updates all drivers automatically.

I did try both and ended up with slimdrivers.

Hope I helped you, keep drivers updated is important, however many people says if not broken don't fix it :-)

still at work, looking forward to put bios update on my laptop, thank could be the solution for the linux problem, if still not working i just keep playing dragon age and dont care about linux anymore :D
